About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Alberta Health Services in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthetic care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthetic care to patients in various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and gynecology/obstetrics.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in academic and research activities, including teaching and simulation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be a qualified medical doctor with specialist certification in anesthesiology.
  • Eligible for independent practice through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
