Job Overview

The Shift Leader is a key member of our retail team, responsible for leading exceptional guest experiences by having authentic and genuine conversations with customers to create a sense of community around the Accoravillage brand/store. You will guide patrons through our curated assortment, earning their trust and creating a positive and inclusive environment for all customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Community Building: Build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
  2. Brand Ambassador: Be a positive representative of the Accoravillage brand, promoting our values and mission.
  3. In-Store Experience: Create a positive and vibrant in-store experience, ensuring customers feel welcome and supported.
  4. Product Knowledge: Continuously educate yourself on our products and services, providing expert advice to customers.
  5. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock is always available and up-to-date.
  7. Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, adhering to company standards.
  8. Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize store performance and drive sales growth.
  9. Opening and Closing Duties: Perform opening and closing duties, including float counting, POS system activation/deactivation, and end-of-night reporting.
Requirements
  1. Age: 19+ years old.
  2. Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  3. Responsibility: Reliable and responsible, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  4. Customer Service: Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  6. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  7. Certifications: Provincial Cannabis Certification required.
Working Conditions
  1. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 pounds, and use a desktop computer and peripherals.
  2. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
