Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Rossland, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional structures. You will work closely with our team to ensure high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Installation and troubleshooting of electrical components in various structures
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Following safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment as required
- Providing excellent customer service and presenting a positive attitude
- Testing and measurement using multi-meters and other equipment
- Leading apprentices and providing guidance and support
- Punctual and reliable attendance on worksites
- Understanding of Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
Requirements
- Red-Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Valid Class B FSR (Fire Safety Officer) certification is an asset
- Extensive knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Commercial and residential construction experience required
- Experience in other electrical fields is an asset
- Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
- Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts
