Job Summary

Transport On Time is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of driver logbook, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and an AZ class license.
  • Experience and Skills: Willingness to train and a strong ability to work independently, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Work Environment: Work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a focus on a safe and healthy work environment.
