About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority in Prince George. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and participating in education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oncology consultation and patient care to patients with cancer
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to improve cancer treatment and outcomes
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
  • Eligibility for appointment to the medical staff at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia
