We are currently seeking multiple candidates for the position of Laboratory Technician:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting a variety of procedures on environmental specimens, including sample weighing, organic extractions, and metal analysis.
  • Providing essential laboratory support such as cleaning glassware, preparing samples, maintaining workstations, and managing waste disposal.
  • Employing fundamental laboratory instruments effectively.
  • Ensuring prompt sample tracking while adhering to quality and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school education.
  • Previous laboratory experience is advantageous.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to deadlines.
  • Positive demeanor and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Work Environment:

This role necessitates standing and lifting items weighing up to 20 kg during shifts. Manual dexterity is crucial, and the use of specified personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
