Laboratory Technician

Bureau Veritas is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Ville Saint-Laurent. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our laboratory results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures for food samples
  • Prepare and analyze samples for microbiological testing
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory results
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient laboratory operations
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for laboratory work
  • Identify and communicate non-conformances to Supervisor
  • Meet quality and TAT specifications required by the client

Requirements:

  • College diploma in Science
  • Experience in a laboratory setting is an asset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and record-keeping skills

Working Conditions:

  • Workplace: 7150 rue Frederick Banting, Ville Saint-Laurent, Montreal
  • 6 months contract (possibility of transitioning to a permanent position)
  • Work schedule: day/evening (depending on needs, possibility of overtime on weekdays and/or week-ends)
  • Status: Full time, 37.5h/week
