Family Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Island Health. This is a unique opportunity to work in a streamlined medical practice in the Gordon Head area, catering to an older population with a focus on complex care and disease management.

The practice has a flexible schedule, with the option to work 2 days in office and 2.5 days in a virtual clinic. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology, including e-fax from EMR, Fongoworks, and high-speed internet. Our team is committed to providing excellent patient care, and we are looking for a like-minded professional to join us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 3 other full-time GPs and 3 long-term MOAs
  • Participate in on-call obligations and telephone on-call
  • Optional: nursing home/extended care, ACLS, and house calls
