Job Title: Financial Controller

Go2STAFFING is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the internal accounting functions, ensuring clear direction and feedback to staff.
  • Prepare monthly income, receivables, payables, cash flow, and balance statements, and assist with planning of sales management activities.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure company financial information is fairly stated.
  • Organize audits and assist external auditors as required.
  • Work with external accounting firms on tax management and be responsible for tax filings.
  • Keep up to date with accounting changes in Canada, the US, and the EU.
  • Manage external communications to authorities, regulators, etc. on all financial matters.
  • Build processes to add checks and balances to all financial processes.
  • Manage payroll (through ADP) and commission calculations and payout for staff.
  • Liaise with and coordinate the work of external accountants.
  • Maintain and manage banking relationships and banking activities.

  • Strong financial acumen and accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
