About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at CORA'S. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, stock, and wastage.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food service operations, ensuring that we are operating within budget.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
