Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and dining area, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food to customers, including portioning and wrapping foods, and operating manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including serving customers at counters or buffet tables, and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Inventory and Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean equipment, including dishwashers, grills, and food dispensers, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with ability to work in a team setting.
