Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines.
  • Perform inspections on engine modules and components.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Complete necessary documentation to maintain accuracy.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and aviation regulations.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints to ascertain proper operating conditions.
  • Capability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs independently.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
Mechanic I:
  • Basic understanding of engine components.
  • Prior experience with routine engine induction and dismantling.
  • Minimal experience required.
Mechanic II:
  • Thorough understanding of complex part inspections and ability to provide guidance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
  • At least 2 years of relevant training or experience.
Mechanic III:
  • Skilled in engine induction and dismantling.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical manuals and data.
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to interpret instructions, serving as a resource for peers.
  • Responsible for signing off on the proficiency of other mechanics.
  • Preferred completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in relevant specialties.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of aviation maintenance experience.
Mechanic IV:
  • Provides mentorship to other mechanics during assembly, inspection, and dismantling processes.
  • Conducts inspections of specialized parts.
  • In-depth knowledge of processes, manuals, and aviation regulations.
  • Preferred completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in relevant specialties or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of aviation maintenance experience.
