We are actively seeking skilled professionals for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers within our Maintenance team . Our dedicated crew of aviation experts is committed to delivering exceptional heavy maintenance operations. We prioritize the development of our workforce. Our Heavy Check Operations not only solidify our presence in the aviation sector but also provide extensive growth and training opportunities for all Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

Overview of Our Operations:

Heavy Maintenance Checks: Conducting thorough maintenance inspections on both company-owned and client aircraft.

Our operations are characterized by a fast-paced environment, featuring a variety of scheduled heavy maintenance tasks.

Our team is currently engaged in the maintenance of DHC-8 and ATR aircraft.

Work Shifts: Day and afternoon shifts are available, operating seven days a week. Overnight shifts are not a requirement for this role. The Heavy Check Operations team primarily works indoors.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Essential: Completion of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent experience such as FAA Training; Essential: M2 Aircraft Maintenance License with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Candidates with pertinent experience and an ICS course completion will also be considered; Experience in heavy maintenance operations is advantageous; Familiarity with the following aircraft is preferred: Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400 ATR-42 or ATR-72; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; Strong troubleshooting capabilities; Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills; Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations; Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changes in shift schedules due to operational needs; Type Course Certification is considered beneficial. We strive for our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at PAL to be Type-Certified on Company Aircraft. For qualified individuals who are not yet Type Course Certified, we will facilitate training and cover all associated costs.
