Enterprise Security Specialist

Marler & Associates Search is seeking a skilled Enterprise Security Specialist to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales. The ideal candidate will work closely with a Major Account Manager in a defined territory, providing technical expertise to qualify sales leads, answer customer and partner questions, and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals.
  • Sales calls: Serve as the main technical resource, providing in-depth knowledge of networking applications and solutions to customers and partners.
  • Post-sales: Lead technical contact for identified accounts, collaborating with the technical support team and engineering to resolve customer technical issues and provide post-sales training.

Required Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, TCP/IP, and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies, as well as strong presentation skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is favorable.
