About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Rana Development Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines
  • Handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Work with minimal supervision
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
