Lead Carpenter

Mucksy Builds Ltd. is a family-run General Contracting company located in Oshawa. We specialize in residential and commercial projects throughout Durham Region, Kawartha Lakes, and the GTA. We are currently looking for a full-time, experienced carpenter to join our growing team

**ROLE**:
The carpenter hired will be responsible for a variety of residential and commercial work Monday to Friday with the opportunity for overtime.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5+ years carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry.
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a group or individually.
- Personal hand-tools required.
- Background check required

**The following general construction skills are an asset**:

- Framing
- Drywall/mudding/taping
- Painting
- Demolition
- Tiling/grouting
- Commercial construction
- Residential washroom and kitchen remodeling
- General knowledge of reading blueprints and drawings

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oshawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
