Key Responsibilities:- Sell new and used material handling equipment within your designated area of responsibility.
- Travel extensively throughout your territory to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to grow our customer base.
- Build strong relationships with customers and identify key strategic customers for growth opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on customers' business activities and changing needs.
- Prepare and maintain customer status reports, including sales call activities and customer lists.
- Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage travel requirements and expenses.
- Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
- Familiarity with the material handling industry, with experience working in or servicing it.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout your assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and passport required.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
