Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising staff, maintaining financial records, and coordinating maintenance and repair services.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of issues
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure effective use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting expectations
  • Coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure efficient and effective operation
  • Coordinate inspection of assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Coordinate contract services to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of issues
  • Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • High school graduation certificate
