Baker Tilly WM LLP is a leading midsize accounting and advisory firm seeking a highly skilled Cross Border Tax Senior Manager to join our tax practice in Toronto or Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of tax and succession planning areas, including estate & trust compliance, personal and corporate tax planning, purchase and sale of private businesses, estate planning, and cross border investment and compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Tax Partners and Senior staff on personal tax compliance and tax advisory engagements
  • Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings
  • Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets
  • Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities, and CRA on various issues
  • Build and manage client relationships at a senior level, delivering high-quality tax service and advice
  • Mentor and coach staff to their highest potential
  • Support and mentor firm staff in respect of tax matters
  • Identify client service opportunities

Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum
