Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to senior Directors/Managers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to senior Directors/Managers, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other administrative systems.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and other financial tasks.
  • Supervise and train junior employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Five years of directly related experience required.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling, coordination, and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computerized systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Certification
  • High school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Formal training in applied office skills required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work for long periods of time at a computer.
