Job Summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care to seniors in their homes. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing and Grooming: Assist clients with bathing, showering, and dressing to promote personal hygiene and dignity.
  • Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals to meet clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Light Housekeeping and Laundry: Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Errands and Transportation: Accompany clients on errands and provide transportation to medical appointments and other destinations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a genuine concern for the well-being and dignity of seniors.
  • Reliability and Trustworthiness: Possess a strong sense of responsibility and reliability to ensure clients receive consistent and high-quality care.
  • Physical and Mental Ability: Meet the physical and mental demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Education and Certification: Hold a valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or equivalent and current First Aid and CPR training.
