Simulation Participant Opportunity

The Volunteer Coordinators' Association of Sarnia-Lambton is seeking individuals to participate in a simulation program that provides hands-on learning experiences for students in the healthcare field.

As a simulation participant, you will work with students to teach, assess, and refine a variety of skills, including communication, interview, diagnostic, and clinical skills. You will have the opportunity to share your own health history and experiences, and students will learn and explore different techniques in a controlled and simulated environment.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the education and training of future healthcare professionals while gaining valuable experience and skills yourself.

Responsibilities
  • Inform the program of changes to contact information
  • Participate in simulation activities and provide feedback to students
  • Work patiently and professionally with students
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be comfortable sharing your own health history as required
  • Have a flexible schedule
Requirements
  • Minimum age: 14
  • No medical condition required
  • Available to work weekdays
  • Flexible schedule
