Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Test Expert in Defense and Security. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for verifying and validating synthetic training devices.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing project engineering test plans for Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
  • Carrying out engineering testing assignments requiring a general understanding of aviation and simulation techniques.
  • Reporting test results and providing recommendations to the project team.
  • Participating in requirement and design reviews, ensuring the application of V&V best practices.
  • Identifying and resolving issues promptly during project execution.
  • Preparing qualification files with the engineering team to demonstrate simulator compliance with regulations.
  • Monitoring V&V budget and schedule, and reporting risks to the project team.
  • Undertaking independent analysis and providing recommendations to improve software and hardware development processes.
  • Maximizing the use of computer tools for engineering testing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • At least three years of relevant experience, including knowledge of aircraft systems and pilot license.
  • Knowledge of internal procedures, such as software and manufacturing processes.
  • Availability to travel to various locations for on-site work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both French and English.
