Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Test Expert in Defense and Security. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for verifying and validating synthetic training devices.

The Role We Are Offering You:

  • Develop and execute test plans for Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
  • Conduct engineering testing assignments requiring a general understanding of aviation and simulation techniques.
  • Report test results and provide recommendations to the project team.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews, ensuring the application of V&V best practices.
  • Identify and actively participate in the resolution of issues during project execution.
  • Prepare qualification files with the engineering team to demonstrate simulator compliance to regulations.
  • Monitor V&V budget and schedule, reporting risks to the project team.
  • Undertake independent analysis and provide recommendations to improve software and hardware development processes.
  • Maximize the use of computer tools to perform engineering testing.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • At least three years of relevant experience, including knowledge of aircraft systems and pilot license.
  • Knowledge of internal procedures, such as software and manufacturing processes, is an asset.
  • Availability to travel to various locations for on-site work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both French and English.
