Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Work Site Environment: The Plant Care Specialist will work outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions.
- Work Setting: The role involves working in various locations, including employer's/client's homes, and providing on-site customer service.
- Tasks: The Plant Care Specialist will be responsible for:
- Carting and spreading topsoil and other materials.
- Laying sod or seed.
- Planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Applying fertilizers.
- Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
- Work Term and Hours: The Plant Care Specialist will work on a permanent basis, with a typical workweek consisting of 30 to 40 hours.
- Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
