Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who thrives in collaborative environments. As part of the Middle Child team, you will gain invaluable experience in a vibrant and fast-paced setting. This internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of public relations and social media.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about pursuing a creative career in communications. You will learn about integrated marketing strategies, including traditional media relations, influencer partnerships, event coordination, and social media management. Key Responsibilities
- Gain insights into the dynamic realms of earned media, social media, and marketing trends.
- Collaborate with senior executives and gain hands-on experience across various departments.
- Utilize your creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit in practical applications.
- Support media and influencer relations, social media content creation, and event management.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Assist in developing program materials, proposals, and budgets.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to status report preparation.
- Learn about administrative and financial processes, including invoicing and cost tracking.
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed post-secondary education in communications or marketing, with relevant experience preferred.
- A creative thinker who is not afraid to challenge conventional approaches.
- A commitment to understanding earned media and social media trends.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovative thinking.
- Strong multitasking abilities and adept at managing competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytical tools.
- Proactive, self-directed, and adaptable to new technologies.
- Proficient in creating documents using software such as Keynote, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
