About S. J. Lawrence Architect Inc.

We are a dynamic and innovative architecture firm seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team. As an Architectural Technologist at S. J. Lawrence Architect Inc., you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Assist in the creation of three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software, and two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Technical Documentation: Analyze technical documents and reports, and prepare working drawings, presentation graphics, and drawings.
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM): Assist in the development of BIM models and collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Communication: Prepare and present technical information to clients and stakeholders, and assist in the development of marketing materials.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and SketchUp.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
