Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Indian Masala Restaurants Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Housekeeping: Stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Maintenance: Mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Work setting: Restaurant.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
