Job Summary

Avi's Kitchen Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
    • Follow proper food handling and preparation procedures to ensure food safety.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and stock inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Working Conditions

The Food Service Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals. The position requires standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.

Security and Safety

The Food Service Counter Attendant will be required to undergo a criminal record check and provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada.

Transportation/Travel Information

Public transportation is available, and the position requires the ability to travel to and from work.
