Job Summary

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Testing: Install and test fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure they continue to function properly.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers to ensure they are satisfied with our services.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to customers on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the fire alarm industry.
  • Education: Electronics diploma or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Certifications: Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or comparable qualification.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.
  • Transportation: Possess a valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License).
