Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant - 12 Month Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process prescriptions refills and enter patient care information into Kroll
  • Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in-person
  • Manage patient accounts and billing
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering
  • Escalate coverage questions to 3rd party adjudicators as necessary
Requirements:
  • 2 years of recent dispensing experience in a retail pharmacy
  • Experience handling BC Pharmanet claims and adjudication issues
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Kroll software and MS Office
