We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team in Western Canada. As a key member of our Restaurant Development department, you will be responsible for the successful execution of reinvestment projects throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and Promote Positive Working Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including franchisees, corporate staff, general contractors, architects, vendors, and municipal authorities.
- Monitor and Control Project Management Process
- Coordinate the efforts of others, including Owner/Operators, McOpCo, contractors, and external consultants, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure Quality Control Standards
- Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, construction, and project close-out to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage Project Budgets and Schedules
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and construction plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and Manage Project Reports
- Develop and provide regular project reports and updates to management, including site visits and project close-out.
- Experience
- Demonstrated experience in construction project management, with a strong background in the Quick-Service-Restaurant (QSR) industry.
- Collaborative and Communication Skills
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively build strong partnerships with management, staff, and external partners.
- Project Management Experience
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to make critical decisions to drive project success.
- Technical Skills
- Advanced skills in Smartsheet, Excel, and SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Agility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel within Western Canada up to 30% of the year.
