The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Chemical Engineering Co-op Student to join our Technical Services Department for a 4 or 8 month work term. The successful candidate will be responsible for process investigation, analysis, and report writing, and will work closely with our Technical Group to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Compute various calculations based on given data, including mass balance calculations.
- Interpret P&C drawings and design Method of Procedure (MOPS) graphics.
- Conduct presentations and meetings based on field work experience.
- Process flow and control problems.
- Learn and work with Honeywell systems.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Applicant should be a 2nd or 3rd year Chemical Engineering student.
- Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and extensive communication skills, both verbal and written.
Benefits of Working with Us
- We offer a flexible schedule with four 10-hour days a week, allowing for a 3-day weekend.
- Compensation will be based on level of education completed, with a starting hourly rate range of $33.05-$35.25.
