We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our operations. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to all branch personnel, ensuring optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce safety protocols and standards for both the company and customers.
- Identify and evaluate new business prospects, implementing strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Ensure that equipment service and repair backlogs meet company standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members across various roles.
- Conduct performance evaluations, focusing on strengths and areas for improvement while holding staff accountable.
- Lead merchandising initiatives, including pricing strategies and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain high customer service standards and assist in resolving service-related issues.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and operational reviews.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assess credit risks.
- Manage inventory effectively to minimize slow-moving items.
- Authorize expenditures and manage petty cash responsibly.
- Optimize branch operations for productivity and service efficiency.
Additional Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the rental industry or related fields.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and goal-oriented leadership.
- Proven success in achieving results and motivating teams.
- Strong financial acumen and business insight.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on issue resolution.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Capability to collaborate with diverse teams and departments.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience in Health and Safety training is advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of equipment operations is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and travel as needed.
