As an Accounts Receivable and Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for executing monthly accounts receivable and cash reconciliations, conducting bank reconciliations, and analyzing discrepancies. Your role will involve performing month-end processes, offering guidance to clinics, and supporting audits and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly reports on outstanding accounts receivable and cash reconciliations for clinics.
  • Collaborate with clinics to address outstanding issues, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Record monthly revenue and cash journal entries accurately.
  • Investigate discrepancies between the point of sale and financial systems.
  • Complete bank reconciliations for approximately 30 bank accounts and follow up on unresolved items.
  • Process patient refunds efficiently.
  • Execute various month-end tasks, including preparing or approving manual journal entries and compiling working papers.
  • Analyze and reconcile discrepancies between the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and systems.
  • Offer coaching and support to clinics as needed.
  • Assist with audits, special projects, and ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable.
  • 1-2 years of experience with accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • A post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
