Architectural Technologist Job Opportunity

Zeidler Partnership Architects is seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our Vancouver team. As a leading Canadian architectural practice, we design meaningful spaces that contribute to community and deliver lasting value.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and creative individual to actively contribute to the design, delivery, and coordination of all phases of the project from pre-design to site administration. This role involves responsibility for architectural drawings, design integration/strategies, and planning requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and communicate current project status to the Project Manager or Job Captain at regular intervals
  • Work with the team to ensure project success as measured by client satisfaction, work quality, profitability, and fostering team professionalism and collaboration
  • Lead team members and actively participate in the preparation of drawing packages for various permit submissions and/or construction
  • Coordinate consultant teams
  • Liaise with clients and Approving Authorities when requested
  • Prepare project code analysis
  • Review drawings for Building Science accuracy, consultant coordination, and compliance with local Building Codes and City Bylaw requirements prior to submissions
  • Participate in product research including building components and systems
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures established by the company
Requirements
  • Architectural Technologist Diploma or related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • 5-10 years related experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Revizto, and AutoCAD is essential
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
