Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at Parvisinvest. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the selection of securities offered by our 3rd party issuer partners in the Real Estate Investment Industry and representing them accordingly in the Parvis Direct Access Fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Strategy Development: Develop and implement investment strategies for qualified individuals or institutional investors, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the management and performance of the fund, including monitoring fund performance and making investment decisions.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to support client recommendations and compliance needs, including researching and documenting research to support client recommendations.
  • Business Development: Secure private and institutional capital allocations, and contribute to the investment strategy and product selection of the fund overall.
  • Client Retention and Business Development: Retain existing clients, pursue new business opportunities, and develop written and verbal presentations for institutional partners.
  • Compliance and Administration: Support compliance reports, account documentation, client and dealer forms, and maintain portfolio KYC, KYP, and other administrative requirements.
Requirements
  • Three years of relevant investment management experience in an IIROC member investment dealer preferred.
  • Experience working with the IIROC dealer network.
  • Finance, accounting or business degree, undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.
  • Existing securities licensing as an IR, RR or PM in British Columbia or Ontario.
  • Professional designations CFA or CIM are welcome; also desirable are CFP or RFP.
  • Motivated to train on a market-leading digital investment platform.
  • Familiarity with investment management trading systems and the Fundserv network.
