Position Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. Your expertise will be essential in assisting users and maintaining high levels of service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to computer networks for users.
  • Monitor and report on the performance metrics of computer systems and networks.
  • Assist users encountering technical difficulties with their computers.
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user manuals, technical documents, and other resources.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of issues and resolutions for reference by fellow support analysts.
  • Oversee the activities of other technical support personnel within the team.
  • Deliver business systems, network, and internet support to users based on identified challenges.
  • Set up and configure equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and necessary software.
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations for web servers.
