About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our Transportation Planning group, you will be responsible for planning and designing multi-modal transportation solutions, transit systems, and traffic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team of transportation engineers, planners, and designers to develop innovative transportation solutions
  • Conduct transportation studies, traffic analyses, and impact assessments to inform project design and implementation
  • Prepare technical reports, memos, and presentations to communicate project results and recommendations
  • Attend client and public meetings to present project findings and engage with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Transportation Engineering or Transportation Planning
  • EIT designation or eligibility for RPP
  • 0-3 years of experience in transportation engineering and/or planning
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation software (e.g. Synchro/Sidra, VISSIM, VISTRO)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
