Position Title: Journeyman Electronics Specialist

Location: Grande Prairie, AB

Role Summary: We are in search of a skilled Electronics Technician – Journeyperson to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the upkeep and repair of electrical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance both in-house and at various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems
  • Accurately document inspections, work orders, and repairs
  • Manage recording and control software
  • Assist in the planning and cost evaluation for repairs
  • Offer support and insights regarding equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary education in electronics or a related discipline is preferred
  • Valid Driver's License is required
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in field service roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics

Work Schedule:

  • 5 days on, 2 days off
  • Availability for weekends and overtime is necessary
