Job Description

At Sterling Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Test Products: Conduct daily inspections and tests to ensure that products meet quality standards.
  • Document and Record Results: Accurately document and record inspection results, including any defects or issues found.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Calibrate and Maintain Equipment: Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Identify and Implement Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Quality Inspection Tools: Must have previous experience with quality inspection tools, including hand gauges, optical comparators, and CMM.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems: Must have knowledge of quality systems, procedures, and forms.
  • Education and Certifications: College degree preferred, with technical focus preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document and record results.
