At Les ventilateurs Ventmeca inc., we are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. You will be required to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes, as well as operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and oxygen arc cutting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in welding
  • Strong background in welding
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Ability to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Ability to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
