We are currently seeking a Certified Automotive Repair Specialist to become a vital part of our enthusiastic team. We offer a Competitive Compensation Package that includes a flat hourly wage ranging from $30 - $37 per hour, a generous production bonus, a tool and boot allowance, and a $5,000 signing bonus distributed after specific milestones in your employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess all vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs.
  • Prepare a comprehensive report on the repair order.
  • Estimate flat rate times for each service recommendation, utilizing provided manuals and company policies.
  • Gather parts pricing and availability for each service suggestion.
  • Execute all tasks as specified on the repair order with efficiency and precision, adhering to company and manufacturer standards.
  • Order necessary parts upon receiving authorization, unless instructed otherwise.
  • Preserve and label parts for warranty or insurance jobs, or upon customer request.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles after service whenever a wheel is removed or any repair affecting drivability is performed.
  • Ensure all work is thorough, accurate, and completed promptly.
  • Oversee the work of apprentice technicians or students, reporting any deficiencies to the Service Manager.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions as scheduled by management.
  • Stay updated on all factory technical bulletins and emerging automotive technologies.
  • Maintain a high level of focus to minimize errors.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are returned in a clean condition, both inside and out.
  • Keep the workshop organized and tidy at all times.
  • Clean work areas at the end of each shift and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Comply with all federal, provincial, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S or higher).
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive mechanical operations.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A demonstrated eagerness to learn and excel.
  • Team-oriented, diligent, and positive attitude.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in automotive mechanical operations.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable and capable of working productively.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding instructions and information.
  • Personable, reliable, and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
  • Previous experience with Audi vehicles is an asset.
