Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant

London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of prescription medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Managers with daily operations, including technical preparations of prescription products, operation of automated pharmacy machines, shipping prepared prescription products, and receiving and organizing pharmacy stock.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and multiple London Drugs' stores via telephone.
  • Meet production deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-offs.
  • Operate the prescription computer and perform general housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional image and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Kroll pharmacy software.
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.

This is a full-time position, and applicants should be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week.
