Job Overview: Retail Operations Associate

At Canada Post, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our retail operations team as a Postal Service Assistant. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service at our retail sales locations.

• Promote and sell postal services and products to both businesses and individual customers;
• Accurately sort, distribute, and manage mail;
• Assist customers by providing necessary information and required forms;
• Address and resolve delivery and service-related issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or equivalent provincial certification, or relevant experience in business management;
• Experience in customer-facing roles within retail or service sectors, including handling sales and cash transactions;
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles or postal service operations;
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs, manage boxes, sort mail, and maintain a standing position for extended periods;
• Willingness to be available for temporary on-call assignments.

Additional Information:

Applicants residing within a specified distance from the postal facility may be considered as necessary.

Selected candidates will be required to complete a security clearance process as part of the hiring procedure.

This position is vital for maintaining security and adheres to the guidelines set forth in the Canada Post Substance Use Policy.
