Our company is well established, serving Ottawa and surrounding areas for over 10 years. We have expanded the business to include a start to finish sawmill operation and we are now looking to grow our team. We are looking for dedicated individuals with a shared vision of taking this company to the next level, providing clients with tree care and tree removal as well as the opportunity to repurpose their beloved trees into usable lumber.

Ground crew are expected to assist arborists by operating ropes and equipment on the ground while the arborist/tree climber is in the tree. They are also expected to assist with job-site clean-up, including management and chipping of brush and wood as it is lowered to the ground. This position requires an individual who is able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and is comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Safe chainsaw operations
- Chainsaw maintenance
- Wood Chipper safety
- Operations of skid steer
- Driving truck and trailer

**Qualifications/Assets**:

- Chainsaw Safety Course
- G class license
- First Aid
- Truck driving experience
- Heavy equipment experience
- Working at heights training

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- tree service: 1 year (preferred)
