Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Elite Fine Foods Inc. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
