About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Balu Printing Ltd. as a key member of our creative department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and guide a team of graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual communications.
  • Project Estimation and Planning
    • Estimate and plan the time required to complete graphic design and illustration projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Design Adaptation and Development
    • Adapt existing illustrations to meet client requirements, and develop new designs that exceed expectations.
  • Storyboard Development
    • Collaborate with the team to develop storyboards for electronic productions, including multimedia, interactive, and digital products, as well as television advertising and productions.
  • Client Consultation
    • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, ensuring that their communications needs are met.
  • Design Creation and Production
    • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations that meet client requirements.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
  • Client Communication
    • Establish clear guidelines for illustrators or photographers, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met.
  • Project Management
    • Determine the most suitable medium and vehicle for communication, ensuring that the desired visual effect is achieved.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week.
