About the Role

SOCAN is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Data Strategy and Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive business strategy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business users and subject matter experts to understand reporting requirements and business processes.
  • Design and develop data models and datasets within our cloud data lakehouse environment.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to executive leaders through clear and concise visual reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to large corporate projects and initiatives that involve data analytics and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Demonstrated experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
