Job Title: Custodian - Northern Region

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at District School Board Ontario North East. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools in the Northern Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning tasks in classrooms, washrooms, offices, and other areas of the school
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry)
  • Some heavy lifting and moving of furniture
  • Must have or be willing to obtain WHMIS Certification
  • Must submit Fit to Work form (cost of form covered by District School Board Ontario North East)
  • Must submit clear Vulnerable sector check
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
